Franklin Chaokas Odsey
Frank Chaokas Odsey was born in Mainit, Bontoc, Mountain Province on August 12, 1945. He is the son of a humble miner and a farmer-housewife. He is the youngest of four siblings (Benedict Odsey I, Helen O. Wagsey, Magdalena O. Kis-ing, and Frank). He is married to Josephine Galpo Balmaceda of Sagada and Bontoc. He is blessed with five children (Frenylind O. Sagandoy, Winnie Claire O. Padong, Mae O. Velasco, Adrian, and Arthur Leonard) and four grandchildren (Keneisha O. Sagandoy, Abishai Drey O. Padong, Jon David O. Padong, and John Frank P. Odsey).
He finished his elementary and high school education in Lepanto, Benguet where his father was a miner. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Baguio Tech (now University of Baguio). He finished his Masters degree in Public Administration at the Lyceum of Baguio (now Baguio Central University).
